    The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Aviation Administration (MDOT MAA) is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Training/Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator. In general, the position will assist the MDOT MAA’s Office of Organizational Development to:

    • Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
    • Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks
    • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
    • Market training options to employees
    • Maintain employee training records in the learning management system (LMS)
    • Create online and instructor led courses in the LMS
    • Track and report on training activities
    • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
    • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user training issues
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Education and Experience

    • ·         A bachelors degree in HR, training, education, business or related field OR high school diploma with two or more years training and development experience.
    • ·         Experience with training or scheduling events.
    • ·         Strong organizational, problem solving and skills
    • ·         Experience presenting to large and small groups of people
    • ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • ·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    • ·         Knowledge of learning management systems or online training records management (Preferred)
