Employee Learning week Webinar:

FROM LEARNING TO SKILLS: LEIDOS' JOURNEY TOWARDS A SKILLS-BASED ORGANIZATION

How do you move from traditional learning and development to a skills-driven approach that connects talent, technology, and business strategy?

Join Gretchen Ringer, Senior Director of Learning & Development at Leidos, for a behind-the-scenes look at how Leidos is building the foundation for a Skills-Based Organization.

In this session, Gretchen will share the progress Leidos has made in 2026, including establishing an enterprise skills taxonomy, expanding technical upskilling, introducing AI-powered career development tools, and leveraging digital credentials and skills intelligence to better understand and develop workforce capabilities.

The discussion will explore how these initiatives are coming together to create a more connected talent ecosystem—one where employees can identify their skills, discover development opportunities, and prepare for emerging roles and business needs.

Attendees will learn:

  • How Leidos is building the foundational elements of a Skills-Based Organization, including skills taxonomy, governance, and workforce skills data.

  • How technical upskilling, personalized learning, and AI-enabled career tools are helping employees build skills for the future.

  • How digital credentials and skills intelligence can improve visibility into workforce capabilities.

  • Key lessons learned, challenges encountered, and priorities for 2027 as Leidos continues its transformation.

Whether your organization is just beginning its skills journey or looking to accelerate progress, this session will offer practical insights, real-world examples, and ideas you can apply to your own talent development strategy.

This event is brought to you by the ATD MD Chapter Board.
