Christie has led a successful consulting business for over seven years and is excited to provide a few tips and answer your burning questions. 

Bio: Christie VanHorne, M.Ed, MPH

Christie is the founder and president of CVH Consulting, LLC, a public health consulting firm focused on health education and instructional design. Her work is characterized by an ability to dive deep into subject matter combined with a capability to make health education and training dynamic, engaging, and effective. From her first foray as a health educator in rural South Africa with the Peace Corps, Christie has developed custom educational courses, curricula, and train-the-trainers for medical professionals, nonprofit leaders, community health workers, and the general public. She has facilitated and designed more than 100 workshops and trainings, contributed to podcasts and magazine articles, and revitalized large scale healthcare training programs for local, national, and international health initiatives. Christie’s clients include The Institute for Healthcare Improvement, National Environmental Health Association, Malcolm X College, Hemophilia Federation of America, the State University of New York at New Paltz, and Impact Education. She has master's degrees in both education and public health, as well as a certificate in instructional design.
