Gamification of Training & eLearning:

Bringing Elements of Games to Instruction

Thursday, April 8, 2021 | 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Presented as part of ATD MD's Innovating Talent Development Series

In this session, hosted by Miko Nino, Ph.D., participants will explore the principles of gamification and how learning can be enhanced through it. They will discuss strategies such as rewards, feedback, leaderboards, storytelling, and others and how they can be specifically used in face-to-face and online environments. Participants will also learn when each gamification strategy is more effective and how to design instruction or training around them. In addition, this session will teach participants how to use gamification as a mechanism for assessment and transfer of knowledge.
