To be a leader today means being a leader of change. Our "Mindset" shapes how we think, feel, and behave. Without an understanding of the
science
behind Mindsets and the
art
of practicing a change of Mindset, leaders will find it a struggle to make positive change last. Our Mindset determines our cognitive capacity, our emotional intelligence, and our sense of what Buddhists call "right action" (or, behavior). Our Mindset, according to a century of research in developmental psychology, is how we organize reality - our worldview, our sense of self, and most important to leaders, what motivates us.
Our presenter:
David M. Zeitler, MA, MBA
David is president and CEO of Zeitler Executive Dynamix, a solutions-based firm in Philadelphia that uses the science of mindsets to effect positive change. An associate of Minds at Work, David has worked closely since 2010 with the Harvard Change Leadership Group, whose goal is to create evidence-based leadership transformation programs. A former associate director of the Integral Psychotherapy Center, David is co-author of the book Integral Psychotherapy: Inside-Out/Outside-In. His current writing interests center on the important differences between coaching and therapy. David holds black belts in traditional jinwoo kung-fu and tai-chi.
