Training managers and trainers are often asked to solve business problems through training. Unfortunately, many business problems have root causes that training cannot fix; not completely anyway. But it's difficult to say "no" as many business leaders "don't want to hear it". So we are in a tough spot - either get labeled as difficult to deal with or deliver a solution that fails.
Join Mick Magill and learn an approach to engagement that moves away from 'solution' toward 'problem', where you will have a better chance to bring up other root causes and appropriate solutions. In this session, participants will learn how to apply the principles of performance improvement to:
Move the conversation from ‘solution’ to ‘problem’
Analyze needs properly
Present root causes
Sell your solution
