Please join us for our November event!
Have you ever thought that you would like to remove yourself from the daily grind of the corporate world and start your own training company? Be your own boss and determine your own hours? Come join us at our November event and learn the ins and outs of being an external training consultant. We have invited four of our Maryland ATD Consulting SIG members to come together as a panel to discuss their experiences and challenges in starting and maintaining their training business.
In this session, they will cover multiple topics including:
When did you decide to actually start your own company?
What has been the biggest benefit and “cost” to running your company?
What is the biggest “trick” that you’ve learned about running your company?
It’s easy to get your first client….how do you get the second one?
How much time do you spend running your business?
Is there a lot of paperwork associated with running a business?
How do you know what to sell and what to charge?
- What is the biggest myth you’ve discovered about running a consulting business?
