    I'll start off the discussion by asking what kinds have things have you learned from handling conflict?

    I've learned conflict isn't always a negative. I appreciate the authors' comments that we often shy away from conflict because we don't always know how to handle a situation.
    And our responses to various situations matter.

      Conflict can be emotionally charged. Handling this well includes perspective and listening.

      What successes has anyone had in dealing with conflict?

    While reading this book I am struck by the work conflict management takes. Handling things before there is a problem pays off in the long run.

    Creating trust, and balancing work load are two parts of the work. Supporting the team is also important.

    I find myself considering the types of opportunities that can come from handling conflict rather than ignoring it.

    I'm considering how I can handle conflict differently. Over the past couple of years I've become more comfortable with the presence of conflict and living with it.
